Life feels a little fuller this week; in the best possible way. Yesterday, we adopted two black cat sisters, and they already rule the house. Their names? Morticia and Wednesday. 🖤🐈⬛🐈⬛ They’ve been inseparable since the moment they arrived, exploring every corner of their new kingdom side by side, with their golden eyes glowing like tiny lanterns in the dark.
It feels fitting to welcome them just as autumn begins to settle in. Black cats, flickering candles, cooler evenings… Sweden’s höst has never felt more perfectly timed.
At the same time, life is getting busier. Between work, SFI classes, and daily routines here in Linköping, my days are very full. Add in research (always humming in the background), and I sometimes feel like I’m living in two timelines: the one here in the present, and the one I’m piecing together from history, ruins, and DNA.
Because of that, my posts might become a little less frequent; but the stories, both past and present, are still very much alive in me. They’ll find their way here, even if slower than before.
For now, I’m taking comfort in the small things: a hot cup of coffee, the rustle of autumn leaves, and two little shadows curled up beside me as I write.

Because sometimes history is best explored with a purring companion… or two.
